Thank you for a year of brilliant ideas and inspiration! I am excited to start a new year with lots more wonderful ideas! I have celebrated the new year in Ubud, Bali which is the handmade and art center of the island... I am amazed at what the local crafts people are creating here, but haven't bought too much, I have managed to take some pictures..... I just hope the craftspeople are being paid appropriately, because the prices of pieces in shops are comparable to Australia and the costs of materials are way lower. Happy new year dear Jodie! X

Tiff, Linda and Elaine, thank you so much for all your support this year. Have a wonderful 2012!

Tiff how lucky are you to be in Bali. Yes there is often a question mark over the allocation of profits in countries such as Bali. They are amazing craftspeople as you mentioned and should be paid as such.

I finished & wrapped the quilt in time for Christmas morning. Miss 13 does love it and it's now on her bed. I will take some photos to post.
