Make : Grow : Thrift

Keeping in touch with girlfriends can be really hard.  Jen is one of those low maintenance friends I've had from school. She never gets upset with me if I don't call for months (6 to be exact) and we continue where we left off every time. I've come to realise that friendships like these are priceless and I need to make more of an effect to spend time with my wonderful friends.

I caught up with Jen on Friday and we hit the local op shops.  Not a bad effort for me.  I scored a cute stripey shirt ($3), a very cool wine rack ($3) which is now holding rolls of bias and a bundle of zips that will come in very handy ($3 the lot).

Did you have something that was Made : Grown : Thrifted this week?
Please share below, we would love to hear about it.

Each Monday you can link to a post on your blog sharing with us something that is handmade, homegrown, homemade (such as a recipe) or recycled/thrifted.

This does not need to be craft or sewing based. This is all about making our lives a little greener week by week.

Don't forget you can also upload your photo's to The Haby Goddess facebook page.

Add this button to your blog to let others know you are making a difference this year. Just copy & paste the code below.

What a great 'haul' you found at the op shop. Natty idea to use that wine bottle storage unit!
