Featured Handmade Business: Betty Jo

Liz Jones left being an Art & Craft teacher behind in 2005 to create her Betty Jo business.

Working from her studio in Brunswick, Melbourne, all Betty Jo's pieces are unique.  Liz uses predominately recycled and repurposed materials such as salvaged lino, recycled laminex, buttons and doilies that she finds from scouring op shops & garage sales and transforms them into clocks, brooches & pendants. She oftens receives donations of lino from friends & strangers.

Betty Jo Designs can now be found in over 70 stockists in Australia & New Zealand.  Liz also recently attended the Melbourne Finders Keepers market.

Using her huge collection of bric-a-brac treasures, Liz has created a new range of colourful collage jewellery. These pieces are available from her Etsy shop "The Colour Kitten".

The Cuckoo Clock would have to be Liz's signature piece but you can also get lino clocks in owls & hummingbird designs as part of the "Time Will Tell" range.
Now for the who, what & where's:
