Product Review: Split Personality Reversible Bag Sewing Pattern

Who doesn't love a new bag, especially one that can be worn two ways!

Liesl Gibson of Oliver + S and Lisette fame has designed a new range of patterns under the Straight Stitch Society banner.

As The Haby Goddess online store is now stocking two of these paper sewing patterns, it is my duty and responsibility to make myself one - well that's what I told my husband!

First up today is the Split Personality Reversible Bag.

There are a lot of pieces to this pattern and it takes a while to cut & interface pieces but the great thing is you can use up scraps.
When deciding on fabrics keep in mind that you will see the reverse fabric in the inner handle and opened top of the bag so they will need to compliment each other to a certain extent.
While there are no techniques in this pattern that a beginner couldn't master, button holes being the hardest, it could be a little confusing with all the different pieces.

The patterns works beautifully and you definitely get a feeling of satisfaction when you do the final turn in and see that it has worked. It's a clever pattern.

This pattern is available in The Haby Goddess online store.
