In desperate need of some character.

I will almost always open a blog post from my google reader when it includes images of the blogger's studio ~ I just love looking at the spaces that inspire people to be creative.

However, I am feeling a little uninspired by mine at the moment.  Yes it's big, organised and neat with everything where it should be ~ but it's missing the character it needs to feed my creativity.

So I'm on a mission find the feeling that it is missing.  Over the coming weeks I plan to add some personality to my space which I will share with you all along the way.

Here is the perfect example of a studio with character. This is Emma Lamb's studio. Even though it is definitely not my style, I love how it all works so beautifully together and reflects her gorgeous creations.

Is your studio a reflection of your style and does it inspire you?

I know exactly what you mean! Although I've managed to cover my living room in gorgeous things, my craft space still has blank white walls.

My creative space is a fairly new area of our home and still a work in progress...it definitely needs a bit of character thrown into the mix.
I adore Emma's space, off to see more :)
and I look forward to seeing your space evolve.

I just blogged about 'Creative Space Envy' today too and how sad my space is - you have to see my photo to feel truly sorry for me!
I too am planning a makeover in the next few weeks. I can't wait to see what you do with yours.
P.S Always enjoy reading your blog!

Happy hunting Jodie! Re-decorating is so much fun. My creative space is a work in progress...things change gradually as I find things that either suit me better in the way they look or function.
