The New Zealand Fashion Museum has published this fantastic new sewing pattern book with the help of 10 leading designers from New Zealand.
I love how the book starts by taking you on a journey of New Zealands fashion history and each pattern shares a brief bio about the designer and their creative inspirations.
There are a diverse range of patterns included. From lounge suits in knit to cute striped skirts.
You will find designs by:
Papercut Patterns
Company of Strangers
Cybele
Katie-maree Cole
Lela Jacobs
Starfish
TK Store
twenty-seven names
Vaughan Geeson
WORLD
The back section of the book has detailed 'how-to' pages shown tutorials on french seams, bias, adding a universal hem plus more.
Your book comes in a funky PVC sleeve to protect your book and to house pattern pieces.
Only a couple of the patterns come multi-sized which is its only downfall. The rest are 10-12 (Aust - NZ)
Home Sewn is available in The Haby Goddess online store.
