Picking up where she left off.

I inherited many, many items from my Nana who has been gone for over 11 years now, most being craft related. When she past away I was very busy with a baby and crafting really wasn't part (or a priority) in my life.  So these items have been stored in various nooks and crannies around my home and I often stumble upon them as cupboards get cleaned out or re-arranged.

This weekend while trying to condense two linen closets into one, I found this beautiful linen cross stitch tablecloth that Winnie had 80% finished.  I think had I found it a few years earlier I would have repacked it and put it back where it was.  But now I think I'm finally ready to pick up where she left off.

Have  a wonderful day xx

Oh Jodie, this table cloth is divine, and even more so because it was started by your beloved Nana! How special, I love it!! I was very close to my Nan and have lots of 'treasures' from her, but no gorgeous craft items like this one! I hope you will show us when you finish it! Happy embroidering:) ~ Tina xx

Beautiful...my Grandma taught me to crochet many years ago and it has been the arrival of my children to inspire my creativity in this craft...Melinda
