Ooh! In desperate need of making my own stamps pronto(!), but every time I go the art/craft store, I always put off buying the supplies to do so with other necessities. My top use for this lovely set would be to make custom stamps for my line of miniature, handmade cards and accessories. Thanks for the chance to win! ;)

This looks like so much fun. I would love to create some original designs to stamp onto fabric, and use in various sewing projects - bags, softies or a personalised quilt. Thanks for the offer!

This is what Melanie said before I deleted her post in error (oops!!)

I think my use for this is actually very clever! I'd give it to my daughter so *she* can carve me a stamp to use with the fabric ink stamp pads and twill ribbon I just ordered! :)

My Man & I have just cosied up, and I'd love to make a lovey-dovey M&R stamp for marking our mail and other things we do together... it'd be great to have the stamps to personalise throw cushion trim etc too!

hrmmmm.
i think i would probably make a card stamp too.
with 'made with love by nicole'
i'll have to practice lots before hand though, i'm not so good at writing backwards, let alone carving backwards.

Oh wow this is such a wonderful give-away!

I would use it to make personal Thank-you Cards for my customers, so I would have "Thank-you" and maybe a little Love Heart.

Pick me, Pick me, Pick me, Pick me, Pick me, Pick me, Pick me, Pick me...

BTW that's also what I'd attempt to carve on my stamps! I'd also try to carve Hate Me... and Love All

I say attempt to carve cos, well let's face it, I'm no artist!

I keep looking at the stamping things and thinking I'd love to have a go but so far haven't tried!! As to what I'd carve, I'm not sure as yet! Maybe something which symbolises our family and I can use on envelopes when sending out snail mail!! :-)

So I'd love the opportunity to win!! - Kerri-Ann (SS)

Imagine the things you could label and stamp! I'd love to design some of my own, maybe a special one each for my sons - their clothes, bags, whatever I make them!

hi Jodie, I'd leave my mark on my handmade goodies with the stamp kit...my quality has improved and people are asking where i bought things from, when i say 'i made it' they are shocked, the stamp on twill tape as you suggest would prove it's come from me!!! Love your blog, AND newsletter...Tina

I used to create my own stamps when I was in high school using erasers. To have a proper set would be awesome!

My crazy morning idea (not a lot of sleep!) was that I would love to have a shot at carving stamps of hieroglyphs for my son who has just got into exploring other languages and alphabets (he's 6, but mad for this stuff!)

I would stamp anything and everything that I could find that was stampable (is that even a word) Hey if I use the right ink it will be easier to get off than my kids stickers :)

OOoh I didnt even know these existed. I have just started being 'creative' again after a few years in hybernation after having two little ones very close together. I have now come out of the baby haze and unfortunately have to work full time but have decided I need something for 'me' I would love to win this so I could design my own stamp to put on my creations. My children get so excited seeing Mummy be crafty and I am getting a real buzz out of it too.

I'd love to win this stamp set - my 6 year old daughter loves designing, so she can do her designs for the stamps, and I will carve them for her, and then she can use them for making her own cards.

Oh the stamping on twill tape is rather cool, I could make my own labels for my girls school clothes... but I have a hankering to make some kind of christmas design and stamp my own gift tags.. maybe?

I love giving gifts with wrapping that can be recycled so I think I would grab some twill tape and stamp it with a generic pattern such as flowers or hearts, trucks or robots and stamp away!
Then wrap up my gifts and go.

I used to love to linoprint but this has been harder to find either the time or the space to do since I had my DD. Hoping this kit would reinspire me to keep carving, just on a smaller scale.

Would love to make some little notecards to use as thank you's. Not thank you's for presents, just to send as little random thoughts to people I care about.

I would use it to create a stamp to label all my handmade goodies and I would make see about how stamping into handmade soaps would work?

Well... I think I would like to carve a little bunny, with floppy ears! I think would do nicely for all the cards I send out with my orders!

Cheers!

I'd actually love to win this not for myself, but for my friend Ethan. He's a fifteen year old who's really into sewing and craft, and I've heard him say how much he'd love one of these, before. I think we should encourage younger people - especially boys - to get into sewing and handicrafts, if that's what they love.
SO I'd like to win, to give it to him as a surprise.

I would use it to stamp the paper carry bags I use at the markets when selling my things, and also to stamp the brown paper packaging I wrap my postal orders in.
Am looking at buying a stamp kit anyway, but winning one would be such a nice thing to happen!

T'lia said...

I would use it to make stamps for book covers, and for generally putting my name on stuff!!

I would love to try and do some stamping on fabric! How cute and individual! I might need a bit of practice though, and a kit to help me out!

Years and years ago, I used to "kill time" in school by carving designs into my erasers and using them as stamps. It's not been 24 hours since I've stumbled across this again on your blog and some others and I am itching to get into it again. Since giving birth 8 weeks ago, I have a lot of time on my hands (well, a lot more than what I am used to) and so to pass away the time when he's off in sleepyland I can't wait to start making custom made presents for my friends, family and especially for him. Whether I win one of your packs or not, I'm so excited to get going. Thanks for the inspiration!!
