A big thank you to everyone who has been playing along in
Make : Grow : Thrift.
You don't need to participate every week, only when you have something you would like to share.
This week I finished a project I started a little while ago with Miss 9 (you can see how it started here!). Using this tutorial, what started off as lampshades turned into string tea light holders for the garden.
We made a few different varieties with some having ribbon and coloured wool.
I followed the instructions of the tutorial and it all works. It was a lot of work but fun and something the kids can join in with.
Each Monday you can link to a post on your blog sharing with us
something that is handmade, homegrown, homemade (such as a recipe) or
recycled/thrifted.
This does not need to be craft or sewing based. This is all about making our lives a little greener week by week.
Did you have something that was Made : Grown : Thrifted this week?
Please share below, we would love to hear about it.

Those tea lights look lovely. How creative you and your daughter are Jodie :-)
Wow Jodie - that looks great! I'd love to make something like that for my entry hall, it's on the list!
How cool! Love it Jodie! X
