The Haby Goddess' very first workshop!

I am so excited to finally announce my very first Haby Goddess workshop.

Basic Knitting Enhancement techniques

The workshop will also be co-hosted by Leanne from Plain 2 Purl who is a very experienced knitter. This workshop aims to add a new dimension to your knitting with these basic enhancement techniques.

The only skills required for this beginners workshop are: Plain, Purl, Casting on & Casting off - that's it!

What will be covered?

1. adding gorgeous ruffles to the your edges of scarves or blankets
2. how to make knitted flowers
3. easy to make ropes which can be knotted
4. learn how just changing needle sizes, using different textured yarn or knitting different yarns will add a whole new dimension to your knitting projects

On the day you will receive a kit to use during the workshop. This is what is included:

1. a pair of 4mm knitting needles
2. a pre-knitted garter stitch piece (approx 15cm x 12cm) which is ready for you to practice adding your ruffles & enhancements
3. a detailed pattern & set of instructions on making knitting flowers
4. Heirloom 8ply wool sample balls to use

All these are yours to take with you after the workshop is completed. A lovely afternoon tea will also be provided and the instructor will also bring a selection of finished projects and related books etc to show you.
