My sisters in laws visited Pennsylvania last year and purchased some beautiful fabric from the towns in & around Amish settlements.
This image shows a lovely table runner that my mother in law quilted from some of that fabric.

The Amish people have preserved a 17th century rural culture, resiting the changes of our modern society. They are deeply religious, with families & farming holding a high priority in their lives.
