Week 1 - Nana's mix of retro, vintage buttons

This is all that's left from the original 10 lot of buttons that I uploaded. So be quick to grab the rest before they go too!!

I love raiding my nana Dorothy's sewing room. Recently while putting together a sewing basket for my daughter I found her button treasures. These are the first items I would like to offer to you. We have no idea of their origin, with most being recycled gems and some have slight scratchings. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

The women who have influenced me....

I'm fortunate to have grown up in a family of women who were talented in all areas of sewing and craft. I have always admired my mum, grandmothers, and 'grandmother-in-laws' creations, many of which are still part of our family today. Over time I would like to introduce you to those women and the items that remain precious to me. My late nana 'Winnie' was a regular entrant at Agricultural shows and her signature creation was cross stitched gingham cloth. Aprons & tablecloths still fill my cupboards and tables are always covered with her keepsakes on special occasions.
