Where has the last 3 years gone!
I started this blog on the 1st September, 2008 with a post describing the women in my life who have influenced my creative passions.
There have been a lot of posts since (542 in fact), some that are now a little cringe worthy but many that I'm really proud of.
It's been a roller coaster of some lows (a knitting workshop that was cancelled) and many highs including an overwhelming response to my online sewing school.
So if you see a 40ish woman, resembling the image above, running towards you on the street trying to give you a bear hug, please don't call the police it's just me.
I feel I've gotten to know many of you on such a personal level that if I met you on the street I would probably smother you with a hug to say thank you for your support and being a friend.
I haven't finished yet, there's still a lot to come but I'm so glad you're all on this ride with me.
I'll be celebrating all month and will end with my biggest giveaway yet.
No way.. is that you in the pic??? You're supposed to be brunette - that's how I pictured you cos your logo lass is brunette & you certainly do not look like you are in your 40's let alone your 30's!

I think I read that post, around that date or soon thereafter. Yours was one of the first blogs I started reading which inspired me to start my own not so long after!

ReplyDeleteRie & Bree, you girls have been with me from the very start - and before blogging Rie there was very bad Television.
I do want to make mention that there is a hell of a lot of layering of effects on that image to get the candles the way I wanted them - in the process, the layers very nicely filled in all my wrinkles and added a bit of a fuzzy lens LOL!

Congratulations Jodie. Well done on 3 years of great tutorials, hints and crafty business posts. Very impressive. I am in a little bit of a blogging lull right now so am amazed by your continuing blogging commitment and enthusiasm.
