You are more likely to find Freezer Paper in a Haby store than down the aisle of your supermarket. The arts & craft world have embraced it as their own and use it for such things as appliques & stenciling.
The Haby Goddess online store is now stocking
I've put together a little list of great links for Freezer Paper stenciling & applique. It looks like a sinch to do and most of the tutorials are the same so these are more for inspiration, all you really need is a whole lotta imagination.

You must of read my mind! I've been looking for freezer paper, finally found some but then the postage from the US almost gave me a heartattack!!!
ReplyDeleteIs this the same kind of stuff as GLAD Go Between?
ReplyDeleteAh, I'm so intrigued about this. And delighted you included my dear friend Tina's gorgeous cushion. I've been meaning to ask her this for ages. And is alycejb right? J x
ReplyDeleteIf Glad Go Between is a cooking paper then the freezer paper is a little different in that one side (the shiny one) has a plastic coating. This becomes temporparily adhered to the fabric when ironed and will peel off when paint is dried.
ReplyDeleteHope this helps Jane & alcejb.
Thanks so much, Jodie. I really appreciate the explanation. Now I might just have to buy some from you ☺. J x
ReplyDeleteI have been after freezer paper for ages....so glad there is someone who now stocks it...I think you will be out of stock very soon :)
